Jon Lindsay, Strategic Management Consultant

Jon Lindsay has led several businesses through significant change in both large corporate and midsized business environments.

Coming from a customer oriented service and sales environment, he is a proven safe pair of hands with a joined up approach to business strategy and excels when a business is repositioning itself, diversifying or merging.

His change management methodology recognizes the interdependence of shareholder, employees and customers in a proprietary model designed to deliver change joined up through the different dimensions.

Jon’s career has spanned construction, manufacturing and financial services before moving into consultancy and CEO mentoring. He gained a reputation in fast track project management as a civil engineer, before running several medium sized materials businesses which included business combinations, restructuring and trade sales.

During the last decade Jon headed two of the UK’s largest credit insurers. He is recognized as a thought leader in the use of business to business credit and was chairman of the trade credit committee of the Association of British Insurers for several years. Jon is now supporting Queensland businesses facing the challenges of the new look global economy. He maintains his passion for working capital strategy by working with key finance providers on development of financing solutions for the SME and Service sector.

He is a Queensland Chair at The Executive Connection (TEC) and acts as a mentor for SME CEOs. His focus on the role of the business leader often highlights the dependence on the senior team and the need to ensure the team as a whole has created a “Joined-up” strategy. Jon has a talent for challenging the status quo and conventional business models – clients have sometimes an uncomfortable but always fulfilling ride.
